I was recently told by a Dish Network installer he received notification from the company They will pay $50.00 dollars for each free to air receiver they report that is receiving Dish signal illegally and up to $5,000 dollars for reporting anyone programming FTA receivers and selling them for the express purpose of illegally receiving there Signal.
So just FYI, be careful whom you talk to
