PANSAT 250SM loading guide for USB

load guide for 250sm with USB stick:

First time using the USB stick:
Hook up your stb to your tv,turn the power on,select your language,You will notice a front door that swings down on the front of your new 250sm.Open it to reveal the USB slot,and insert the USB stick (provided with your new 250sm) into the front slot.
Unit will display "USB attach" and take you to the USB menu.If it does not,scroll down to USB,and press OK,to enter the USB menu.
This will create two folders on your USB stick called "channel data" and "code backup"



1.Download the latest bin file from the 250sm download section:

2.Extract the file from the zip folder.

3.Insert the USB stick into an open USB port on your pc.If the folder does not open,go to start>my computer>and select it.(its a removable storage device-removable disk.)

4.Drag and drop the bin file to the "code backup" folder.

5.Down by the clock,you will see the safely remove hardware icon,select it,and select stop to its removable storage device.It is now safe to remove the USB stick and take to your 250sm.

6.If this is the first time turning the unit on,select your language first,then insert the usb stick.

7.Unit will display "USB attach" and take you to the USB menu.If it does not,scroll down to USB,and press OK,to enter the USB menu.

8.You will then see two folders.Highlight the "code backup" folder, and press OK.

9.Select the latest bin file stored in the folder,and press OK,and confirm by selecting yes to data restore,press OK and download will begin.



WARNING!!!!!!!!!!

do not interrupt the download,doing so may result in serious damage to your receiver!!!!! once complete,the box will reboot.wait an additional 15 seconds after rebooting has finished!!!!!
