I am having problem with my stb. I cannot download the new file to my stb. My computer is not making connection through the noll cable. Any ideas what could the problem might be.

Receiver brand: VIEWSAT XTREME
Receiver model: XTREME 2000
Current programming status: DOWN

first of all make sure ur cable is rs232 null cable and that it is good and try to verify that tha 232 slot is working on back of computer if so make sure u r using the correct loader and file if everything is correct u should b good 2 go.......

fill ur mouth full of water or spit, start ur loader, place null cable in mouth and hit load
